So I am currently reading acosf, and Nesta is crying because she realizes she's hurting people and thinks she can't be better, Cassian then says, "Everyone deserves happiness." And that just made me kinda mad. Note: This is a rant, I will try to be as respectful as possible SMALL SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ A COURT OF SILVER FLAMES Please let me know if you agree or disagree in the comments :) (I also really hate the whole Rhys becoming High King thing and I really hope that gets dropped, though tbh I doubt it will now it’s been mentioned. Please tell me I’m not alone in feeling this way 😅 It’s honestly making chapter 55 seem tame lol-like, I signed up for a romance/fantasy series not 700 pages worth of smut. sex? It was just so explicit, to the point where I actually found it uncomfortable to read, and I was thinking maybe that’s just because it’s Nessian, but then I read the Feysand and Azriel bonus chapters and they were also about sex, despite only being a couple pages long each, which leads me to think it’s probably just how all SJM content is going to be now she’s moved up to writing adult fantasy instead of YA/NA. The original books focused a lot more on plot and characters, but all ACOSF really felt like it was focusing on was. I loved the original trilogy, but I just feel like what made those first three books so great was just kinda put in a blender with this newest novel. So to Beron, he'd view his granddaughter as an abomination that needs to be disposed of as well as to keep his bloodline pure so basically some Death Eater shit and i could see Eris trying to become High Lord so that he doesn't need to hide it anymore and so him and possibly his brothers can love who they want without their father in the way.Įver since reading ACOSF, I’ve started to not like the direction the ACOTAR series is going. Also when Rhys mentioned the firstborn child and Eris said he doesn't know about the firstborn instead of my firstborn now this may be a stretch but its possible Gwyn's mother is Eris' firstborn who i feel he gave up to the priestesses to protect her from Beron since we know what he did to Jesminda and as well as what he does to his family. Lucien due to his relationship to Jesminda since we don't know what kind of faerie she was and it's quite possible but in the case of Eris i could see his redemption being more of familial love for his granddaughter instead of romantic as well as Cassian saying he's possibly a good male but he's to much of a coward to act on it.

I'm 100% certain that Gwyn is related to the Vanserra Family she's also the only other fae to use her family name like the Vanserras and she said her mother lived in The Forest House but anyway I think either Eris or Lucien is her grandfather.
